Homefield is a community platform connecting youth sports families with local coaches and organizations in Central Indiana. The platform is operated by Homefield ("we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at support@homefield.app.
Homefield is designed for adults — parents, guardians, and coaches. All accounts must be created by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Children do not create accounts on Homefield. Player profiles are created and managed exclusively by a parent or legal guardian.
When you create a family account, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and county. When you create a player profile for your child, you may provide the child's first name, sport(s), age, grade, county, and an optional bio. No photos of children are collected or displayed. Children's contact information is never collected.
When you create a coach account, we collect your name, email address, coaching bio, sports, experience, and county. Coach profiles are publicly visible to registered families.
Player profiles are used to help coaches find athletes for their rosters. Coaches who are logged into the platform can view a player's first name, sport(s), age (not date of birth), grade, county, and bio. Raw dates of birth are never shared with coaches or displayed outside your own account.
Player profiles are not publicly accessible. They are only visible to authenticated users with a coach account on the platform.
Homefield is not directed to children. All accounts are created and managed by adults. Player profiles represent children but are created, controlled, and deletable by the parent or guardian who holds the account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. All information in player profiles is provided by the parent or guardian account holder. If you believe a child has independently submitted personal information through our platform, contact us immediately at support@homefield.app and we will promptly delete it.
We do not sell, rent, or share children's information with third parties for commercial purposes.
You can view, edit, or delete any player profile you created at any time from your dashboard. You can close your account at any time by contacting support@homefield.app. We will delete your account and all associated player profiles within 30 days of your request.
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt). We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to player data requires authentication. We do not store payment information — no transactions occur on the platform.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
